Publish the "Good News" on your weekly bulletin.
Let the visual Word would linger in household environments throughout the following week, along with the hymns we hum and the sermons that we recall as we live our lives.
Here's how it works:
- You will receive the weekly reading and Gospel Illustration to print, frame and display in your gathering space at the main entrance of the church, for all to see, as the assembly enters for your Eucharistic celebration. The music minister's choices are inspirational to these drawings. The composers are on the same path as artists. Because the drawings are submitted two weeks in advance, the liturgist may use the piece to reinforce key points in the Homily.
- Display a poster, banner, porcelain tile, or other stationary that illustrates the weekly reading and the Gospel message, at the main entrance of the church, in the narthex.
- Publish the same illustration on the front cover of the church bulletin. This will help the message linger in the home environment for the following week.
Besides the bulletin and narthex before mass, they could also be used for a bible study discussion or fund raising programs.
To participate simply e-mail us and your faith community will get an e-mail each week with the corresponding illustration and Gospel reading.
